Gin, chartreuse, vermouth and orange bitters

Original Recipe

  • Equal parts gin, green chartreuse and sweet vermouth
  • 1–2 dashes orange bitters
  • Lemon peel squeeze and cherry garnish

Modern Recipe for the Delicate Palate

  • 1 oz gin
  • 2 oz green chartreuse
  • 1/2 oz sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • Cherry garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill a cocktail glass in the cooler
  2. Pour all the ingredients into a mixing glass and  stir until chilled
  3. Strain into the cocktail glass and garnish with a candied cherry
